Newsmax Projects Dems Win Senate, Sweep Congress

Newsmax projects Democrats have won control of the Senate, completing a sweep of both chambers of Congress after earlier projecting a House win. Democrats flipped seats in North Carolina, Texas, South Carolina, and Ohio, driven by affordability concerns, the Iran war, and low approval ratings for Trump, which CBS exit polling put at 38%. Republicans will lose committee control and subpoena power, limiting Trump's legislative agenda in his final two years. Trump said he would accept the results and work with Democrats, while arguing he would have won had he been on the ballot.
