Suspicious mailings to election officials, congressional offices under investigation

The FBI and U.S. Postal Inspection Service are investigating suspicious mailings, some containing a powdery white substance, sent to state election officials and congressional offices. An employee in Louisiana was taken to a hospital as a precaution but no harmful substances were found. Authorities are working to intercept additional letters, and the mailings echo similar incidents targeting election offices in 2024.
